Students benefit from connections to nature

Providing students with opportunities to engage with nature has multiple benefits—scholastically, emotionally and physically.  Expanding a child’s understanding of our natural world can help him or her appreciate nature so that they want to help care for it. The time that your students spend outside with nature goes a long way toward creating a happy, healthy childhood.

Watch this new video and start your nature learning adventures!

P.S.  If you’d like to share this message with the parents at your school, email ChildrenofIndianaNaturePark@tnc.org and we’ll share content for your school or district newsletter with a separate video for families.
