“Hilton Head Hideaway”

DONATED BY:  Nancy Green

Located mid-island, this getaway is nestled conveniently near shopping and restaurants yet remains secluded and quiet, only a 5 minute walk to the Atlantic beach or 27 hole golf course.  The property has a lovely pool, hot tub, grills and plenty of fun activities for kids!

DETAILS:   Enjoy a two-story 1,500 square foot condo complete with furnished living/dining room, fully equipped  kitchen (including utensils and china amenities), lovely deck, washer/dryer, sleeper sofa, flat screen TV, half bath downstairs, and two big bedrooms  (one with king bed and garden bath and the other with twin beds and bath upstairs). It makes a comfortable location for 4 guests but can squeeze 6 (additional pull-out couch on-site for additional guests). The condo includes two complementary bikes in the storage and wireless service. The community includes access to a newly refurbished pool/tennis and play area with grills and whirlpool hot tub. The week includes a free round of golf each day for 4 (cart fees not included) and a free “Daily Hour” at the tennis court hour at the tennis center. Week dates are flexible but must begin on a Saturday at 5 pm and end the following Saturday at 10 am. Owner will work with you to book a convenient date!

Testimony from past winner, Diana Fahl: “This is such a wonderful experience, you can make it as active or as laid back as you want. The condo was absolutely beautiful with all of the amenities. There was a very nice pool and hot tub located just a few feet away. There are bikes available and we rode all over the place, to the grocery, out to eat and to the beach every day.  I strongly recommend that people ride their bikes to the beach at night. It was so very relaxing listening to the waves come in and sit in the dark to finish out the day. We did a dinner boat cruise, zip lined, and had some old time photos taken. OH and I cannot forget the absolutely fabulous golf course!! I am spoiled forever with that golf course; I have yet to play on another golf course since that measures up. Everyone we met was extremely nice and helpful. We ate at some wonderful restaurants and I would recommend to go to lunch at the Sea Shack (you can ride your bike) and for dinner go to the Jazz Corner!”

“Tortola Escape”

DONATED BY:  Teri Grossman

DESCRIPTION:  Imagine yourself in gorgeous British Virgin Islands!  Spend a week in Tortola with family or friends enjoying all the pleasures of island life in a roomy cottage! The house features stunning views of the ocean from the veranda and is only a ten-minute drive down the mountain to the beach.

Accommodations can comfortably sleep 6 guests but can squeeze 8.  The main house features two bedrooms, two baths, and a fully equipped eat-in kitchen and living room.  Covered veranda is accessible through all rooms and adjoins a studio apartment with bath, lounge area, and mini kitchen.  Owner will gladly meet with you and help you plan the perfect vacation by giving the inside scoop on tasty restaurants, activity ideas, and scenic spots!

Testimony from past winner, Jill Borchers: “Get ready for Island Time!  Relax on beautiful beaches or go, go, go!  Explore unique shops, restaurants  and marketplaces that reflect the culture of the Caribbean.   Spacious accommodations are well located for day trips and sightseeing.  Soak in spectacular sunsets and stunning views from the veranda as island breezes take your cares away.  Great food … great drinks … great views … great times!”
